European Wildlife Photographer of the Year is one of the major nature photography competitions in the world. The competition is arranged by GDT (Gesellschaft für Naturfotografie), Germany’s largest association for nature photographers. At the 2023 competition, Niklas Storm’s image Stormy weekend awarded a Highly commended in the class Nature’s studio.
The image is taken by lake Vättern, Sweden’s second largest lake on a stormy day.
All award winning images will participate in the exhibition EWPY 2023 which will be shown around Europe.
