At Budapest International Foto Awards 2021 Niklas Storm has received two awards:
- The book In the twilight zone gets a silver in the category Book/Nature.
- The image Corgarff Castle gets an honourable mention in the category Fine Art/Landscape.
The book also contains a number of previously awarded images. The image Curious, winner of Swedish Nature Photography Championshops 2020, in the category mammals, bronze in Tokyo International Foto Awards 2020 in the categories Nature/Wildlife and Portfolio/Fine Art (together with several other photos from the book).
